4th Annual Twin Valley Fish House Festival this Weekend
Twin Valley, MN — Finding ice thick enough to fish on by foot may still be a challenge heading into this weekend, but anglers throughout the area are still busy preparing their wheelhouses for their first expedition of the winter. No…not onto to the hard water, but the hard pavement of Main Street in Twin Valley. The Twin Valley Community Boosters are hosting their 4th annual Fish House Festival this Saturday, November 19th starting at 2pm. As part of the Fish House Festival, people can set up their Ice Castles, Glaciers, Yetti’s, or whatever brand icehouse they have right on Main Street as if they are camping on the ice. The only difference is they don’t need to drill any holes. Twin Valley Community Boosters member Michael Bolton says not only is it a fun social event, but it’s also a great opportunity to make sure everything is working on the fish house.
There is no cost to bring a fish house and preregistration is not required, but there is the option to purchase an Ice Pass for just $10. The Ice Passes include a collector lanyard and get you in the running to win one of the more than $2,000 worth of prizes. You don’t have to have a fish house to purchase one or be a part of the Fish House Festival.
Find the event on Facebook for more information. The 4th Annual Twin Valley Fish House Festival is this Saturday, November 19th starting at 2pm.
