66th Annual Erskine Water Carnival Kicks off Thursday
Erskine, MN — Get ready for a big splash of fun! The 66th Annual Erskine Water Carnival gets underway today and features four days of summer fun. From carnival rides and live music to turtle races and fireworks, the Erskine Water Carnival is back to kick off the summer. Tommy Helgeson of the Erskine Commercial Club says today you can enjoy entertainment from Midwest Rides & Amusements and the annual water wars.
Mega Passes are available for $40 and are good for all 4 days of the Water Carnival. For Friday, June 3rd, the carnival rides continue, but you can also take part in a bean bag tournament and Miss Northern Pike contest, or just enjoy a free street dance, according to Helgeson.
Saturday of the Erskine Water Carnival includes a long list of activities, including kids fishing, the “Big Fish Run,” axe throwing, flea market and craft show, golf scramble, coin dig, fireworks at dusk and more. Sunday, June 4th it wraps up with a classic car, bike, and tractor show, kids turtle races, bingo, and the Grand Parade.
Both Saturday and Sunday, the Erskine Commercial Club is giving away a couple dozen kids bikes thanks to the support of local sponsors. Helgeson thanks all their sponsors for the continued support of the Erskine Water Carnival.
