9th Annual Clearwater County Veterans Memorial Ride
Bagley, MN — Fire up the bike and help support our veterans during the 9th annual Clearwater County Veterans Memorial Ride this Saturday, September 3rd. The ride will start and end at the American Legion in Bagley with kickstands up at Noon. The cost is $25 per bike and $10 per passenger, which includes a t-shirt and pulled pork meal following the ride. Organizer Jefferey Schermerhorn says this ride has been very successful over the years in raising money to purchase additional paver stones for veterans at the Veterans Memorial.
Registration for the ride begins at 11am and there will be coffee, rolls, and juice for riders to enjoy before taking off. The ride itself, which Schermerhorn states is the safest in the state, will feature a couple of stops throughout the scenic lake country and should return around 4pm.
And the rides doesn’t just honor our veterans, it also honors our country. Schermerhorn says the ride kicks off in patriotic fashion.
Also after the ride, there will be thousands of dollars worth of raffle and silent auctions items up for grab, including Wild tickets, custom Harley-Davidson firepit, and turkey hunting trips. There will also be live music from Butch Boe and the James Gang starting at 5pm. All our welcome. You do not need to be a biker or veteran to support the cause.
