Essentia Health Recognized As “Clinical Training Site Of Excellence”

Essentia Health has been recognized as a “Clinical Training Site of Excellence” for pharmacy student education by the University of Minnesota’s Office of Academic Clinical Affairs. Essentia received the award for their “exceptional support for University of Minnesota health sciences learners” and our longstanding partnership with the university.

The Essentia Institute of Rural Health (EIRH) supports these students — the future health care workforce — who then receive excellent real-world training from Essentia’s pharmacy staff.

Kate Dean, executive director of the EIRH says “supporting the education and training of our future health care workers is essential for delivering expert patient care in our communities, now and into the future.”
