Ada Bike Rodeo
ADA, MN — After a postponement last week due to weather, youth in the Ada community were able to participate in a Bike Rodeo and parade held in Ada on Monday. Kim Myers with Norman-Mahnomen Public Health had been wary of how the rescheduling of the event would affect participation. She said it was a pleasant surprise to have over 140 kids involved in Monday’s event.
Brianna Eggen with the Dekko Center is pleased to see the event keep growing each year.
Brian Rasmussen and the Ada Public Works crew helped out with maintenance of the bikes.
Chief Steve Hager and the Ada Police Department crew helped out with the event, providing safety as more than 140 youngsters on bikes made the trek across town.
Kim Myers gives a shout-out to the many volunteers who helped make the event a huge success.
