Red River Valley Fair Opens With Newly Renovated Ag Education Building
June 28th, 2024
Today kicks off the beginning of what is know as the 11 Best Days of Summer – or the start of the Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo. This year’s fair schedule has a unique twist where instead of consecutive days, the Fair will be held over three consecutive weekends. RRVF Director of Marketing and Events – Erin Fons tells us that they are excited for the change and for the opening weekend of this year’s fair.
The Red River Valley Fair will open on Friday with a Ribbon Cutting of the Newly Renovated Ag Education Building. Fairgoers will get a chance to be up close with cows, ducks, sheep and other animals while learning about how Agriculture impacts daily life. Erin Fons says they are excited to welcome the public to see the building.
Among the renovations are two items that you will not see anywhere else in the country other than on the Red River Valley Fair Grounds – an agriculturally based immersive realty room, and a corn floor.
The new Immersive Reality room being debuted during the fair will allow for an experience like no other and puts you in the middle of different agricultural experiences.
The Red River Valley Fair opens today and will run June 28th – 30th, July 4th – 7th, and July 11th – 14th. More information can be found at RedRiverValleyFair.Com.
