One Arrested For Scamming Marshall County Woman
A Pennsylvania man has been arrested and accused of scamming a woman from Warren, Minnesota out of over $100,000 in gold bars and cash. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says it first received information from a police officer in McKinney, Texas about Mutahir Ahmed Kahn. The Sheriff’s Office says Kahm convinced her to send him books filled with $100 bills and buy him gold bars and help load them into his vehicle. The victim told law enforcement she did this because Kahm told her he had her Social Security number. Police in Texas searched his home and say they found pictures and evidence of the fraud. Khan was later found in Pennsylvania during a traffic stop and was arrested on a felony theft warrant. He’s being held in the Marshall County Jail on a one and a half million dollar bond.
