LBF High School Homecoming Coronation
Monday night, Littlefork-Big Falls High School kicked off their Homecoming week with the coronation ceremony. Before the grand coronation the Volleyball, Football, and Cheer teams all went on stage to introduce themselve.
Then, our two MCs hosted some fun games for the students like a Fruit Rollup Race, a Bubblegum Pie Contest, and a game call “I love you, but I can’t Smile”.
Finally, we get to our Coronation where the Junior Royalty walked out first, followed by the 2024 Homecoming Court: Dominic Juen, Abby Bishop, Anthony Boorman, Lydia Heppner, AJ Knaeble, Megan Galusha, Tommy Larson, and Anissa Wimmer.
The elected King and Queen of the 2024 LBF Homecoming Court would end up being Dominic Juen and Abby Bishop.
And what are the LBF Royals looking forward to for Homecoming?
We then got to speak to some of the other members of the Homecoming Court.
And ask them what they were most excited about for the Homecoming Week.
After the coronation, the students who attended went outside where they enjoyed the bonfire that has been a part of the Homecoming traditions for a very long time. Here are some of the students who attended the bonfire.
The Homecoming has a lot to offer for the Littlefork-Big Falls community, just ask the students.
It wasn’t just the students in attendance at the bonfire, of course the fire department was also present to oversee the bonfire.
Dan Wendt has been involved with the Homecoming bonfire for a while now.
Although, Dan Wendt is actually an International Falls native but still has a favorite part of the LBF Homecoming.
There was also a faculty member/LBF alumni present to oversee the students.
And she was a graduate of the class of ’90!
With how involved the community is with the high school, how important is that for the students?
The post-coronation bonfire would then end with another long-standing Homecoming tradition. The Snake Run.
