Wild Rice Watershed District to vote on ABW School Forest next month 

Earlier this month R&J News told you that the Ada Borup West (ABW) School District was interested in starting a school forest program, and were working with the Wild Rice Watershed District in acquiring the land. While the ABW School Board voted to move forward there’s still work that has to be done before the project is official. Tara Jensen of the Wild Rice Watershed District tells us more on what still needs to be done, and when we can expect the watershed to vote. 

Jensen says she has received questions on the transfer and ownership of the potential land, and she addressed how that will work, along with some restrictions if a transfer is done.
