Norman County East to open referendum project bids

The Norman County East School will be taking the next step in their referendum project soon. NCE Superintendent Rob Nudell says bids for the project will be going out before their next board meeting in November. 

Nudell says that he and the school board have come to an agreement on a new superintendent contract for the next three years.

The NCE School Board also heard a presentation from their school auditors on their 2023 audit, and Nudel says the audit came back healthy.

Finally, Nudell gave an update on how the school year has gone so far, as his staff have reported some good things. 

Other agenda items included the approval of a contract with the Northwest Service Cooperative for occupational health and safety management, the final approval of a non school affiliated bowling team that will use the Titan name, and the approval to split the cost of a bus shelter for a bus stop in Gary.
