Executive Director Erin Shay Celebrates 20 Years with United Way

United Way is celebrating one of their member’s reaching two decades of work with the organization as we got to speak with Executive Director Erin Shay about the milestone. And we asked her how she got to 20 years.

So she has certainly been able to experience having a hand in different aspects of United Way and their services. As she tells us about it.

She was then asked about what were some of her or the organization’s biggest accomplishments, and she narrowed it down to 3. The first that she talked about was the Buddy Backpack program.

Then, she talked about the program United For Veteran’s.

Thirdly, was the ways United Way would engage with their region which she tells us covers a wide area.

Finally, Erin Shay was asked what was to come for events and/or programs United Way will be doing.

Many congrats to Erin Shay on two decades of service to not just our community in International Falls, but to the entire Northeast Region.
