The temperature is getting colder and colder each day and the DNR knows you love to go ice fishing. This weekend is no exception as Phil Talmage of the International Falls Fishery branch tells us all about the event of Take A Kid Ice Fishing Weekend.

Saturday, Jan. 18, through Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, Take A Kid Ice Fishing Weekend is where residents fish or spear fish for free when accompanied by a child age 15 or under. Catch some quality family time and plan a special ice fishing weekend.

Certainly, those tiny future fishermen would agree to bring plenty of snacks for ice fishing.
