Norman County Veterans Service Officer discusses changes having in Veterans Affairs

There’s a new administration in Washington DC, and this has come with sweeping changes in all areas of the federal government. One federal agency that has been getting some of the most coverage is the Department of Veterans Affairs, with opponents criticizing a lot of the moves the Trump Administration has made to the agency.  Norman County Veterans Service Officer John Rosenberger talks more about some of these changes, and the effect they’re having. 

Rosenberger says there have also been improvements in record sharing under this new administration. 

In terms of changes that have caused pushback, Rosenberger says the cutting of DEI programs, and telework jobs have caused the most pushback from Trump opponents.
