Broncos and Vikings both Dominate Chisholm before Borderland Battle 2
The Broncos and Vikings softball teams both played at the FHS softball fields yesterday in a triangular including Chisholm. After both the Broncos and the Vikings beat Chisholm 15-5 in both games against the Bluestreaks, the two neighbors would face each other in another slugfest.

The second Borderland Battle would be won 14-9 by the Broncos thanks in part to an early 5-run second inning. Alyana Koenig pitched for the win for 6 innings, the lefty gave up 8 runs off 13 hits and walked eight, and Payton Grashorn stepped into the circle in the seventh for relief.
Tenley Westerman pitched the loss for the Vikings in relief, throwing four-and-a-third innings and giving up 10 runs, Ellie Wendt started the game for the Vikings.

Jaeleigh Carlson led the Broncos at the plate batting two-for-four with two runs and two RBIs, and stealing three bases to lead the team running the bases.

Kadence Schmidtbauer was the leader at bat for Littlefork, and the number three hitter scoring 3 runs and an RBI.
