Cook Re-Ups As ABW Superintendent

ADA, MN—Two more years.  The Ada-Borup-West School Board Tuesday approved a new two year contract for superintendent Aaron Cook.  The new contract calls for a pay increase for Cook’s superintendent and business management roles.  The amount of Cook’s pay increase wasn’t announced.  The School Board’s vote to approve Cook’s new contract was 6-1, with Nancy Crompton the only Board member voting against.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the Board approved the school district’s budgets for fiscal years 2025 and 2026.  And the Board accepted the retirements of long-time social worker Tammy Ruebke and long-time physical education and health instructor Dan Jorgenson.  Also, the resignation of special education worker Shayna Hintz was accepted.  The Ada-Borup-West School District will be posting for the social worker and special ed positions.
