KCHS 4th Annual Gala: Midnight Garden Recap
Friday the 13th is normally associated with scary times and guys in hockey masks. The Koochiching County Historical Society (KCHS) turned Friday the 13th into a night to remember at the Thunderbird. With their 4th annual Gala they held to show appreciation to the community for their support.
With how good this year’s gala was, it will definitely be an undertaking to top it in next year’s gala.
In Cori’s opinion, who had the best outfits in the gala?
The gala was a fun night that began with a cocktail hour that allowed for attendees to place bids on the silent auction that was there.
The Gala also had plenty of entertainment and food for the guests from Tarot card readings to music to the meal and dessert.
We even got to speak with Evie Conat, the tarot card reader at Friday night’s gala.
She talks about how she got into tarot card reading, and what the secret might be behind the readings.
She was asked about the hiatus in readings, and if it was a smooth transition getting back into it.
Another fun fact about this tarot card reader is that Evie is a FHS alumni!
And you can certainly expect to see her at next year’s gala.
Thinking about the wonderful music played by Sarah Lightman, how did they find such a talented singer to perform at the gala?
We got to speak directly with Sarah Lightman.
Sarah would share with us her journey that led her to performing at the gala.
So what is the end goal for Sarah’s performing career?
So here are her socials that you can reach Sarah by.
Going back to Cori Horton of KCHS, she tells us what was her favorite part.
So which was easier, the tear down or put up of the decorations?
