Mahnomen School Update 

The Mahnomen School District recently adjusted their visitor policy, which means that parents, and community members visiting the school will have to follow a new set of rules. Mahnomen Superintendent Andrea Simon tells us more. 

In other school news, Simon says she will be visiting Washington DC soon to lobby for the Federal Impact Aid program, which has lots of uncertainties regarding its funding. 

The first day of school at Mahnomen is September 2, and Simon says she is excited to welcome students back. She says they have also implemented some changes that people need to be aware of. 

Again, the Mahnomen Open House night is on Wednesday, August 27.
