Sheriff’s Office Contract going well, Nuisance improving in Twin Valley
The City of Twin Valley is approaching its first year under a policing contract with the Norman County Sheriff’s Office, after having to fold its city department due to staffing shortages. R&J News had the chance to catch up with Twin Valley Mayor Mike Bolton, who tells us how he thinks the partnership with the Sheriff’s Office is going.
If you’ve attended any Twin Valley City Council meeting over the last year, a constant topic of discussion is nuisance properties, with some meetings even having residents voicing frustrations with some in town. Bolton says they will continue to work on cleaning up the city, but he does feel the issue is moving in the right direction.
