Fosston Physician Receives Rural Health Award

FOSSTON, MN—Thursday is Rural Health Day in Minnesota.  A physician assistant from Fosston is one of four people and two groups being recognized for their work by the Minnesota Department of Health. Nicole Kiesow has received the Minnesota Rural Health Hero Provider Award for her work with rural communities.  Kiesow talks about receiving this award.

Kiesow says she’s very passionate about rural health care.

Another Minnesota Rural Health award is going to Joseph Corser, a board certified physician in family medicine and addiction medicine at Bagley Medical Center and Sanford Bemidji.  He’s receiving the Minnesota Rural Health Lifetime Provider Achievement Award.
