Prioritize your health this Holiday Season
The Holiday season has officially arrived, and while the holidays can be the time of joy, they can also often be overwhelming and tough for some people. Kim Myers of Norman Mahnomen Public Health says the holidays don’t need to be overwhelming, and that it’s okay for people to have boundaries.
Myers says it’s also important for you to be kind to yourself, and keep their healthy habits going over the holiday season.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are famous for their sweets, and junk food, and Myers says that people should not overindulge on sweets, and that they should prepare healthy snacks.
Myers was a guest on the KRJB Kaleidoscope, which airs weekdays at 9:00 AM on KRJB 106.5 FM.
