Twin Valley City Council approves 2026 tax levy 

The Twin Valley City Council approved their 2026 general budget and tax levy at their meeting on Monday night. Twin Valley Mayor Mike Bolton is excited to announce that they approved no new tax increases for their residents this year. 

Bolton says the council also had further discussion about a rental ordinance. 

In other city news, Bolton says you may see a couple new vehicles in the Twin Valley Fire Department’s fleet, as well as some other new equipment. 

Other items from Monday’s council meeting included department reports, year end housekeeping, and a truth and taxation meeting.
