Steve Simon visits Ada 

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon was in Ada on Friday morning to meet with community leaders and officials. Norman County Commission Chair Steve Jacobson was one of the community members in attendance, and he says the visit with Simon was very productive, and helpful. 

One of the main topics of discussion for the meeting was election turnout, and the importance of commuting election information to county residents. R&J News had the chance to catch up with Norman County Election Official Amanda Riegert who shared her takeaways from the visit, as well as the importance of voter turnout and commuting election information to voters.

Friday’s meeting was attended by representatives of the City of Ada, Ada Borup West School, Norman County Commission, and Norman County elections office.
