Mahnomen School exploring idea of Teacher Apprenticeship Program 

Finding teachers can often be difficult for schools in rural America, and in response the Mahnomen School District is exploring the idea of implementing a Teacher Apprenticeship Program  for Para-Professionals. Mahnomen Superintendent Andrea Simon tells us more. 

Simon says this program is a direct response to the ongoing teacher shortage. 

During their meeting earlier this the Mahnomen School Board approved a travel request for Superintendent Simon, who says she will be attending the NAFIS Conference to discuss impact aid. 

The NAFIS Conference will be held March 15-17 in Washington DC.
