March is Nutrition Month, and Norman-Mahnomen Public Health is encouraging people to live a nutritious life, and adopt a healthy diet. All healthy diets need to include protein, carbs, and fats, and Kristi Rott of Norman-Mahnomen Public Health explains what’s considered a protein, and how much protein is in a healthy diet.
Rott also talks about the inclusion of carbs in a healthy diet, and the different kinds of carbs.
Despite popular beliefs, fats are also an important part of a healthy diet, but Rott says it’s important to understand the difference between the different kinds of fats, and the role they play in a healthy diet.
