Ada City Council approves Public Works Building plan

The Ada City Council came to an agreement on how to move forward with their public works building project, during a special session on Tuesday night. Ada Mayor John Hintz says the council agreed to move forward with a public works building project that includes the addition of Ada City Hall and the Ada Police Department. 

Hintz says there’s a lot of excitement about this project in the city’s different departments.

Now that the contractor and plans have been decided, Hintz tells us what the next step in the process will be. 

The project passed by a vote of 5-1 with Tom Opheim being the lone vote against.
