Halstad Community Dinner

HALSTAD, MN—The City of Halstad held its annual community dinner Monday night.  A feature of the dinner is naming the Citizen of the Year.  This year, the winner is Faye DeLong.  She reacts to winning the award.

DeLong is a member of the Ada-Borup-West School Board.  She’s also an assistant volleyball coach at Ada-Borup-West, a member of church council and works with the Missoula Children’s Theater.  

The award for Halstad’s business of the year went to GK Technology.  Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson is the co-owner of GK Technology.

Johnson also gave a State of the City address.  R&J News will have a story about that address in future newscasts.
