Mahnomen School District exploring potential “Yonder Pouch” cell phone policy 

The Mahnomen School District is looking to implement a new cell phone policy under the Yonder Pouch system. Mahnomen Superintendent Andrea Simon says these discussions about their cell phone policy come at a time where the Minnesota Legislature is exploring a potential bell to bell cell phone ban.  

Simon explains how this Yonder Pack system would work for students at the Mahnomen School if it was implemented. 

Simon says she saw a lot of benefits to this Yonder Pouch System during her time at the Waubun School District.
