Essentia Health-Fosston Holds Groundbreaking Event for emergency department expansion

Essentia Health-Fosston held a groundbreaking Ceremony for their new $12 million emergency department expansion project on Wednesday afternoon. R&J News was in attendance at the groundbreaking, and had a chance to visit with Dr. Chris Anderson of Essentia-Fosston Emergency Medicine who says he is very excited to break ground on this project. 

Dr Anderson says the goal is for the project to be completed next summer. 

During a presentation at the ceremony, Dr Anderson explained what will be included in the expansion, and how it will benefit area residents. 

Essentia Health-Fosston is a Level IV trauma hospital that provides 24/7 emergency care, walk-in care six days a week and same-day access for primary care.
