Emergency Haying and Grazing available for Producers in Norman County 

Drought has been a major talking point across the Red River Valley, and local cattle producers may be one of the most affected groups. Norman County FSA Officer James Kruize says the lack of rain has led to many producers reaching out to FSA to see how they can help. 

Kruize says the recent drought designation in Norman County has triggered the opening of some new programs in the county, specifically ones that will help cattle producers as they continue to battle the drought conditions. 

Kruize also shared some things to keep in mind if you are going to take advantage of the emergency haying program.
