Euclid Vehicle vs Train Collision
EUCLID, MN—A Crookston man was not injured after his utility trailer was hit by a train Wednesday morning in Euclid. The Polk County Sheriff’s Department tells R&J News a deputy and first responders were called to US Highway 75 and 133rd Street SW in Euclid at 10:45 Wednesday morning. The driver of the trailer, 55-year-old Michael Gene Tiedmann of Crookston, was found to be uninjured and he refused medical attention. Law enforcement found a southbound BNSF train hit a utility trailer Tiedmann was pulling. The trailer was damaged; the train was not and the train’s engineers were not hurt. BNSF says there was no derailment.
