Summer Pet Reminders

Summer weather is here, and Simley’s Rescue in Fertile is reminding you that if you’re hot, your pet is also hot. Sidney Olson of Smiley’s Rescue shares some advice that all pet owners should be following this time of year. 

Olson says the “if you’re hot, they’re hot” mindset also applies to the pavement come walk time. 

This time of year is also a time when pets are in heat, and Olson says it’s important for people to be spaying and neutering, as less stray/abandoned animals is a good thing.
