City of Fosston to hold grand opening of new City Park 

After months of anticipation the new Berge-Stafford City Park in Fosston is now open, and getting lots of use. Project representative Evan Fonder says there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the new park, and in celebration they will be holding a  “Party in the Park” grand opening celebration. 

While phase one of the Berge-Stafford Park is completed, the work does not end there, as Fonder says they will be starting phase two of the project, which looks to build off the new playground. 

Fonder says they will also able to make improvements to another park in town by utilizing the old Berge-Stafford Park equipment 

Again, the Party in the Park Grand Opening will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at the Berge-Stafford City Park from 5:30 to 7:30.
