Give Farm Equipment enough room 

Harvest is underway across the Red River Valley and area drivers are reminded to make sure they are giving farm equipment and trucks enough room when you’re approaching them. Fosston Police Chief Phil Juve tells us more. 

Juve says farmers need to be utilizing their flashing lights, and getting enough rest. 

While it has been pretty dry this summer, Juve says drivers should also beware of mud on the roads, as they can often become slick to drive on. 

Nationwide, approximately 10,000 collisions involving farm equipment are reported each year.
