History of Dairy: How Ice Cream became an American Staple

June is Dairy Month, and one of the most popular ways that we as Americans consume dairy is in the form of ice cream. However, how did this delicious desert come to be? R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier tells us more about the history of this American staple. 

The Ice Cream we eat today is very different from the ice cream those in the ancient world ate, and Revier explains how we went from eating natural made ice, to the ice cream we eat today. 

But how did ice cream make its way across the ocean into the United States? Revier says you can actually thank some of our presidents for that.
