City of Ada storm notification reminders

We’re only a couple weeks into storm season, but the City of Ada has already had their tornado siren go off. However, Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson says they have been receiving some questions about sirens, and the process of setting them off during a storm. Larson says the City of Ada has almost nothing to do with the sirens, and that it’s actually the Norman County Sheriff’s Office that makes the decision to set them off. 

Larson says she has also been receiving questions regarding weather alerts and the city’s text system, so she clears some things up there as well.
