The importance of Weather Awareness 

It’s been just over a year since a massive storm hit the Ada community, destroying their Public Works Building, and cutting the Norman County Fair short, and the anniversary of this storm serves as an excellent opportunity to remind people about the importance of weather awareness. Tammy Carlsrud of Norman Mahnomen Emergency Management explains. 

When it comes to severe weather awareness, Carlsrud says being aware of what’s coming is not enough, as you should also have an emergency plan in place.
