CHS to help build First US Phosphate Fertilizer Plant since the 80’s
The US Fertilizer supply has been limited for some time, and as a result, CHS alongside OCP North America recently announced that they will be building a phosphate fertilizer plant. CHS CEO Jay Deberton says this plant will be good for US Agriculture, and will bring more fertilizer manufacturing to the United States.
Deberton says a project like this hasn’t been attempted in the states since 1984.
Debteron also gives a rough estimate on when this plant could be completed, and operational.
