Highway 9 and 200 intersection in Ada to become 4 way Stop

Ada, MN – The City of Ada would like to inform residents and travelers of an upcoming traffic change at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 200.

Following evaluations conducted by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), along with a noted increase in traffic violations and several reported near-miss incidents at this intersection, MnDOT has determined that a four-way stop will be installed at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 200.

According to MnDOT, installation is currently planned for Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, July 1.

Please note that this decision and project are being directed and implemented by MnDOT, not the City of Ada. The City is sharing this information to help keep our community informed and prepared for the upcoming change.

Travlers are encouraged to use extra caution while traveling through the area during the installation period and to be aware of the new traffic pattern once it is in place.
