3 Injured In 3 Vehicle Accident Near Thompson

THOMPSON, ND—Three people were injured and three vehicles were damaged after an accident on Interstate 29 near Thompson. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says on Sunday afternoon a Toyota Camry slowed down to use the median turnaround near mile marker 136.  A SUV behind that Camry struck it and then sideswiped a third vehicle.  The Highway Patrol says there were seven people inside the three vehicles, with three of them being injured.  No names have been released.  The Highway Patrol reminds you that the median turnarounds are only meant for authorized vehicles.
