Multiple homes still without power after Monday’s storms 

On Monday evening, a storm ravaged the region, leaving hundreds of area homes without power. For some residents in the Wild Rice Electric Cooperative service area, they were hit the hardest. Wild Rice Electric Director of Operations Tom Guenther said as of Tuesday afternoon, some homes are without power, and will be for a while. 

Guenther says he is very happy with how his crew responded to Monday’s storms. 

If you see a downed power line or any other issues, Guenther says you should report it immediately.
