Polk County Commissioner Speaks On Meetings
The Polk County Commissioners meetings are in full swing here in mid-September with the 1st couple meetings taking place last 2 nights and a 3rd meeting set for next Tuesday, September 22nd. Some of the items of approval included a 5% wage increase that will be helped to coming into fruition by the county’s paying off of it’s jail bond which had been at $1.2 million. Polk County Commissioner Joan Lee tells us more:
