Fosston High School Previews Upcoming 2026 Homecoming Week
Fosston High School is gearing up for a full slate of Homecoming festivities during the week of September 21–25, according to Nash Rosendahl, a reporter for the Fosston High School Student Council.
Daily Dress-Up Themes
- Monday, Sept. 21: Hawaiian Day
- Tuesday, Sept. 22: Athlete vs. Mathlete Day
- Wednesday, Sept. 23: Inside-Out / Backward Clothing Day
- Thursday, Sept. 24: Class Color Day
- Friday, Sept. 25: Greyhound Spirit Day
The festivities kick off Monday, September 21, with the Homecoming Coronation at 9:30 AM in the main gym. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. The ceremony will also be live-streamed on Garden Valley and posted to the Fosston High School YouTube page. Monday will also feature student hallway decorating with the theme being “Games” and a pep fest.
Thursday’s schedule includes a volleyball tournament, dodgeball tournament, a Powderpuff girls’ flag football tournament, and a talent showcase.
On Friday, September 25, the Greyhound cross-country team will continue tradition by running the game ball to Thompson Field ahead of the Homecoming football game. Following the game, the Homecoming dance will take place at the high school.
The Student Council is selling Homecoming buttons to the public at home sporting events through September 18. Buttons grant students free admission to the Homecoming football game and $5 off admission to the dance ($10 entry without a button).
