Essentia Health-Fargo Opens New Addition

Essentia Health-Fargo is announcing a new state-of-the-art electrophysiology procedural suite. The $2 million project — which repurposed a general operating room (OR) — allows both of Essentia’s Fargo-based electrophysiologists to be in the lab doing procedures simultaneously.

Previously, Essentia Health-Fargo had one EP space which limited access to these critically important procedures. With both spaces now available, wait times are estimated to be cut nearly in half.

The new EP procedural suite features advanced imaging and mapping technology designed to improve the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as atrial fibrillation and other complex arrhythmias.

Considered a hybrid space, the suite is also equipped with technology that can be used by Interventional neurology. This includes a biplane fluoroscopy system that captures real-time video images of the inside of the body from two different angles.
