Polk County Real Estate Tax Deadline

Real Estate tax season is here and Polk county residents have until October 15th to turn in payment for their real estate taxes not classified as agriculture to the Polk County Government Center. The Center, which will be open from 8am to 4:30pm every weekday, requests payment dropoff from Polk county residents to be dropped off at the taxpayer service center drop box located outside the main east doors.

There is also an online option for payment available for those that can’t make it to the building itself by going to polkcountymn.gov or payment can be mailed to the center with tax statement stub postmarked no later than October 15th. 

Checks should be made payable to Polk county or Polk county administrator by the October 15th cutoff date either in person at the Center in Crookston or via the online or mail-in methods.
