Fosston Approves New Patrol Officer

With Fosston Chief of Police Phil Juve retiring at the end of the year, the city of Fosston had 2 openings that would immediately need to be filled as they would not only need a new Chief, but after promoting from within to fill the role starting in January, they were suddenly down a patrol officer. City Administrator Cassie Heide spoke with R&J News about the void and reassured everyone that at their most recent city council meeting the council moved fast and has established an approval for the addition of a new patrol officer to fill that role.

With Wittenberg’s hire the Fosston police force will be back to fully staffed with no transition period being down a personnel being needed.
