Aitkin, Hill City Councils to meet Tuesday evening

(Aitkin, MN) — Weather permitting, the Aitkin and City of Hill City Council meetings are scheduled to meet Tuesday, February 22nd after City offices were closed in observance of the Presidents Day holiday.
The Aitkin City Council meeting woll review the Aitkin County Highway Department 2022 Municipal Maintenance Agreement, open discussion of Congressman Pete Stauber’s Funding Request, and talk about the notice from the Aitkin County Land Department. The regular council meeting for the City of Aitkin at 6pm from the Community Room of the Aitkin Public Library.
The City of Hill City will hold a work session meeting at 5pm covering the Lodging Tax from the City Hall Community Room before their regular meeting at 6pm. Old Business will include an update on the playground project with New Business featuring approval of a new Municipal Maintenance Agreement for CSAH 33, Training request form, and a grievance for Local 31.
