Aitkin Police, Law Enforcement arrest 3 for drugs, firearms

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies on Wednesday, February 16th conducted a search and arrested 3 individuals for various charges including drug and weapons possession.

According to a release on the Aitkin PD Facebook page, Aitkin Police, the Aitkin Sheriff’s Office, Aitkin Itasca Mille Lacs Violent Crimes Enforcement Team (AIM VCET) and Minnesota State Patrol xecuted a search warrant at the residence of 768 4th Street SE in Aitkin.

The search warrant resulted in the arrests of:

Jeffrey Alvin Miles Turner, 27 of Aitkin (Felony Controlled Substance 5th Degree – possession, Petty Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia);

Joey James Struble, 24 of Aitkin (Felony Controlled Substance Crime – 3rd Degree Possession – 10 grams or More, Felony Felon in Possession of Ammunition – Convicted of Crime of Violent, Felony Felon in Possession of Ammunition – Convicted of a Crime of Violence, Felony Controlled Substance Crime 5th Degree – Possession, Misdemeanor Possession of Hypodermic Needle/Syringe, Petty Misdemeanor Possession of Paraphernalia);

And Jessica Dawn Burke, 28th of Aitkin (Felony Controlled Substance Crime 5th Degree – Possession, Misdemeanor Possession of Hypodermic Needle/Syringe, Petty Misdemeanor of Drug Paraphernalia).

The investigation is currently active according to the Aitkin Police Department.
