Climax-Shelly School Board News & Notes from February 23rd Meeting
Climax, MN — The Climax-Shelly School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday night, February 23rd. At the meeting, the board approved the implementation of a new afterschool program that will begin this spring. Climax-Shelly Superintendent Dan Dalchow says it’ll be focused on students potentially impacted by learning loss during the pandemic.
The board also approved this year’s and next year’s teacher’s contracts. Superintendent Dalchow says he is pleased to have the process completed.
And with all the storms this winter, Dalchow says the Climax-Shelly School District has completely ran out of their allotted E-Learning Days and is now approaching the state about acquiring more.
The Climax-Shelly School Board also approved their 2022-2023 School Calendar.
