(Brainerd, MN) — Crow Wing County will be holding a land use informational workshop on Wednesday, March 30th from 9am-12pm for contractors working around the Brainerd Lakes area and all to learn about land use permit regulations, requirements, grant opportunities, proposed ordinance revisions, GIS map training and more.
Crow Wing County’s Land Use Ordinance is designed to achieve measurable results in achieving the goal of keeping the lakes healthy. Rather than a one size fits all approach to land use, site specific performance standards such as stormwater management, vegetated buffers and septic system maintenance are part of the ordinance requirements.
Registration for this event is encouraged and preferred, but is not required. To register, go to www.crowwing.us/landservices and click on the registration link or stop by the Land Services at 322 Laurel Street in Brainerd. Call 218-824-1010 for more information.
