(Aitkin, MN) — Building early literacy and spending time together reading is one of many programs that Lakes Area United Way offers with their partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library with March being National Reading Month.
In our monthly chat with Executive Director Jonathan Aga, he chatted about the Lakes Area United Way being the one of many outlets for the Imagination Library.
Speaking from personal experience, Aga said children receiving a book in the mail will help in their development before attending school.
For families with multiple children, the Imagination Library does its part to refresh the reading selection over the years.
Being part of the Imagination Library will give children the opportunity to learn and spend time with parents.
Registration for the Imagination Library can be done online and through the Lakes Area United Way.
